Film screening: Somewhere in Europe (1948)

In conjunction with “The Visible Century,” a workshop dedicated to the work of writer and film theorist Béla Balázs, the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures will host a screening of Valahol Európában (Somewhere in Europe, 1948), directed by Géza von Radványi. Béla Balázs co-authored the film’s screenplay. The screening, with an introduction by Eszter Polonyi (University of Nova Gorica), will take place in Campbell Hall 160 and is open to the public.
