Christina Neuhaus received a B.A. in English, Psychology, and Education from TU Dortmund University, Germany, and a Master's degree in North American Studies from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. Her main research interests include 19th-century American literature, narrative theory, and gender studies, as well as German linguistics and teaching methodolgy. She has previously taught in Germany and Hungary and joined the German department in 2017. She has also worked as a freelance translator and interpreter and has led two J-Term trips to Berlin and Weimar. She is also the faculty liasion for the Max Kade German House at Shea.
